At Croc Country Australia, we’ve been working on something big — a purpose-built facility to house problematic crocodiles removed from the wild. This space represents a sustainable solution for managing crocodile- human conflict across the north.
The journey began three years ago, with careful planning and navigating the complex process of permits and approvals. While the facility is still a
work in progress, each completed stage brings us closer to our vision: a safe, functional space for responsible crocodile management.
We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and excited about what’s ahead. This facility will not only provide a haven for relocated crocodiles
— it will also serve as a world-class base for education, training programs, and media opportunities focused on conservation.
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of friends, family, and our local community, who showed up when it mattered most. Their hard work and encouragement helped turn this vision into a reality.
As the facility continues to take shape, every fence post that goes in and every pond that fills is a step closer to the future we’ve envisioned. We’re
proud of the progress made so far and excited about the role this compound will play in the future of crocodile management and
conservation across Northern Australia.
Stay tuned — this is just the beginning
